Hi!
Each time I start TTool on Linux I have to navigate to the folder, open a terminal and run it from the command line.
I added a menu shortcut to my menu, by putting a .desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications
I post here my menu desktop file. Maybe it can be useful to someone.
[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.1
Type=Application
Name=TTool
Comment=A toolkit dedicated to the edition of UML, SysML diagrams and formal verification
Icon=/home/massimo/TTool/ttool_icon.png
Exec=/home/massimo/TTool/ttool_linux.exe
Path=/home/massimo/TTool
Actions=
Categories=Development;Utility;
Keywords=ttool;modelling;modeling;sysml;uml;
Can it be generated and copied to ~/.local/share/applications
in an install script and removed during uninstall maybe? I don't know where to get the current version number and icon path to fill in everything automatically.
Also, I renamed ttool_linux.exe
to ttool_linux.bin
or ttool_linux.sh
on my system because Ubuntu was trying to start Wine when clicking on it
